Orthodontic Services
Aligned teeth means more than a wonderful smile.
Being happy about the appearance of your smile is a very powerful emotion. Your smile is the first gift a person can receive from you. More than half of the people you encounter will notice your smile before any other feature.
Orthodontic treatment results in a cosmetic improvement of your smile but it also helps do so much more. After ortho treatments are completed, the re-aligned teeth facilitate long term health. An ideal bite pattern helps prevent wear and tear in the facial muscles. Straightened teeth trap less food that can grow bacteria and become cavities. Teeth spaced correctly make brushing and flossing easier.
Upgrades to your smile is an upgrade in your overall well being! Both physical and mental!

Braces are appliances attached to your teeth that correct irregularities in tooth alignment. There are two main types of braces. Metal Braces and Clear Braces.
Choosing between the two types of braces depends on the severity of tooth misalignment and what type of outcome you desire. Both types of braces accomplish the same thing; slowly and safely moving your teeth into healthy alignment. The results of braces are:
- Mitigation of future health issues
- Improvement in smile confidence
- Stopping pain or discomfort from misaligned teeth
- Improving speech capabilities
- Preventing future jaw deformities
- Decreasing improper wear and tear on teeth and jaw muscles
You can begin orthodontic treatment at almost any age.
We recommend that every child be screened for orthodontic evaluation before the age of 7. Early evaluation makes it easier and less costly to address any concerns of the current growth progression of a kid’s mouth.
Adolescent or teenage years are a great time to consider braces. Orthodontic treatment varies from patient to patient but during teen years the time to completion is usually shorter than adults. The mouth is still forming and the bone structure of the jaw is more pliable.
If you feel too old to get braces; you’re not alone. About 1 in 4 of our current ortho patients are adults. An evaluation will show you different options for braces that will make it easier for you to journey towards the smile you desire. Even if you aren’t ready to begin just yet, we’ll make sure you understand all your options. Like most things, it’s never too late to start!
