Digital X-Rays

Your cleaning and prevention plan involves taking X-rays of your teeth. We use the latest X-ray technology, known as digital radiography, which uses an electronic sensor to capture and store digital images of your teeth.

The process of digital radiography is quicker and more comfortable than the process of taking film X-rays, and it reduces radiation exposure by a significant amount.  Because the digital images can be viewed instantly, we will be able to detect and diagnose any abnormalities and developing problems more quickly.

We have two types of lasers: one that aids in diagnosis called a Diagnodent and another that is used for surgery called a Picasso Diode Laser — it dramatically reduces healing time and postoperative pain.

One Visit Crowns

In our office we use CEREC technology for many of our crowns. This empowers us to scan, design, and mill beautiful porcelain crowns right in the office. Imagine coming into our dental office to receive a crown, and walking out an hour or two later with a strong, durable and cosmetically beautiful crown already in place. With a CEREC crown there’s no need for multiple appointments, or a temporary crown, to receive a crown. Now you can receive a crown in just one visit.

In the process, your teeth will be digitally scanned, and the information and data of the scan will be sent to an in-office milling machine that will create your crown in an extremely short period of time (as opposed to sending a mold to a laboratory, and waiting for the technicians to fit your crown into their schedule).

Cone Beam CT

This imaging system called Galileos takes a 3D image of a patient’s head and allows us to see much more than conventional x-rays. It provides better diagnosis for abscesses, infections, sinus issues and other painful problems. It also allows us to precisely plan and place implants, dramatically reducing complications and other problems normally associated with implants.
